If anyone else excited about the coming weeks? I LOVE this time of year. I know some people find the turning of the year in January to be a great time to make resolutions but for me it’s the move into autumn and the new academic year that sees a reinvigoration and new energy and perspective. For me, September is when it feels like the new year is starting.
One of my favourite things about autumn is how you witness the wonder of nature and I love getting out to different spots for a walk with the children to explore new spaces. One of the things I mentioned here is that I’m in need of new walking boots, mostly because my old ones aren’t quite as waterproof as they once were. I may well be tempted to buy a pair of Loom waterproof shoes.

Why Loom?
Loom are a fully waterproof trainer that promise to be comfortable and breathable but, crucially also 100% waterproof. I love my walking boots and wellies but they can get a bit heavy after a few hours of walking. Loom waterproof shoes promise to be lightweight and they have been put through lots of testing to ensure they’re made for comfort with perfect cushioning to keep them light on your feet but super comfortable to wear.
I also really like that Loom are a sustainable brand. We all know the stories of some of the bigger brands that are not quite at ethically produced as we might want. Loom waterproof shoes promise to be made with materials that are cruelty-free (and vegan friendly) and that are sourced from some of the most eco-friendly farms in the world. Loom really are committed to sustainability. The average pair of shoes requires large amounts of fossil fuels, thousands of gallons of water, and polluting chemicals to produce. Loom are made with eco-friendly materials and sustainable practices to reduce each pair’s carbon footprint by over 500% and they committed to paying a fair wage to those who work on them.
Get Exploring
Autumn is the perfect time to get out and explore; it’s that perfect mix of not too hot and not too cool and with a pair of Loom shoes you’re going to get dry if you are caught in an unexpected downpour. The shoes are sturdy and the merino wool used in their construction is the perfect material as it is able to regulate temperature to keep feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer. And, as an added bonus, it’s antimicrobial, which makes Loom immune from athlete’s foot, odor, and infection-causing bacteria. Win win! I know I’ve had many a pair of trainers that have just got too wet and smelly to rescue after a walk with the children.!
For Men and Women
Loom comes in both male and female styles and there’s a discount available right now of 60% off – what are you waiting for? The reviews for Loom are superb and if you visit https://loomfootwear.com/ you can get your own pair and keep your feet warm and dry over the autumn and winter and invest in a truly year-round pair of shoes. There’s plenty of reviews of those who have tried out the shoes and you can check one out here or here.
