Our Advent Bucket List

Our Advent Bucket List

It’s seems like the last six months have gone in a blur – can it *really* be December in just a few days’ time? This year both Mr D and Miss E are fully aware that Christmas in on the way. Now that Grandma’s birthday is out of the way they know it is countdown to my birthday and then, once that’s out of the way it is the countdown to Christmas.

Quick and easy advent ideas in our advent bucket list

We have a couple of things planned in with the children, we are going to do the breakfast with Father Christmas again that we did last year and we have tickets for a Pantomine – the first the children will have been to.

I also asked the children what they’d like to do and they came up with a few things make mince pies and Christmas cards. In addition we will be trying to do as many of the activities as we can from this book, Adventivity House. It looks great and has lots of different things to do in. I am not sure we will manage all of these activities, but I plan to give it a good go and do a fair few of the activities.

It is packed with ideas and includes a range of recipes, templates and foldable items. It also (helpfully) at the back includes a list of additional things you need for each project, eg ribbon or ingredients. I can’t wait to get started and will share our efforts over on Instagram.

So… these are the children’s requests – it shouldn’t be too hard to do this things… I hope!
