MP Studia Cross Stitch Kits

I recently bought a couple of cross stitch kits by MP Studia and was a little unsure what to expect from them. I’m ever wary about buying online with the rise of AI and sites like TEMU which copy legitimate artist’s work and pass off with a much inferior product. However, these kits were available via The Craft Paradise website. I have had a few bits from there so was sure I could trust their judgement in terms of the quality of the kits.

About MP Studia

I haven’t found out a huge amount about the designers, other than I think they’re Russian based and have been around since 2005, which means they have a great bank of designs. Their kits come with everything you need and the embroidery floss is excellent quality, and may well be DMC (I haven’t tried to colour match any of it as yet).

What’s in the Kit

I’m currently working on The Night Guard which is a beautiful owl design. The kit includes everything you need and is exceptionally well priced at around £13. Included in the kit are:

  • Aida
  • Floss
  • Needle and needle threader
  • Full colour design on 2 x A3 pages.

The design makes use of blending threads too so the thread guide is important, and this feels particularly well thought out. I have started working on the kit this week and progress is going well. It’s really lovely to stitch and I feel like I am in a good rhythm with it when I sit down to stitch.

Other MP Studia Designs

I have two other MP Studia kits, Bedtime Stories and In The Winter Forest. These are both well priced for a full kit and if the Owl continues to stitch up as wonderfully as has started I think I will soon move on to one of these.

There’s a good range of MP Studia cross stitch kits on the Craft Paradise website, and I am sure there’s something there to take most stitchers’ interest. I also think they’d be a great first step for anyone wanting a slightly bigger project as they are well well priced for everything that you get within the kit.
