I’ve written recently about my discovery of Independent Usborne Book Sellers. One seller asked me to take a look at a new book called ‘Noisy Bottoms’.
I knew from the title it would appeal to my two – what is it with children and bodily noises eh?
The book is a lovely sturdy board book and follows a little bear as he goes through the woods… ever more disgruntled and irritated by the animals he comes across and their noisy bottoms. Little Bear claims you would never ever ever catch him making such a noise… until… yes, you guessed it, he too finds himself victim to a noisy bottom.
Mr D and Miss E thought this book was brilliant and I often find them pressing the various buttons. When I ask who that was Mr D often blames his little sister – who then proceeds to press all the buttons.
Like all Usborne books, the quality is unrivaled. It is sturdy and the batteries to produce the sounds show no sign of running out soon (despite my children’s best efforts!) and it is beautifully illustrated with lovely detailed pictures.
This is a winner of a book and will appeal to many children (and adults!). The noises are funny and the Vine below shows a bit of the book in action
You can buy a copy of this fab book from Becky via her Facebook Page here.
