Letistitch are a cross stitch design company I’d seen on instagram a few times, but not one I had ever completed a pattern from. Last year I saw that they had an autumn themed seasonal box available. The pattern appealed so I placed an order and it arrived in early September of 2024.
For various reasons I only got to this over the summer (of 2025) and thought I’d share my views on it.
What was in the Seasonal Box?
The seasonal box included a complete kit for the Happy Pumpkin Spice Season chart. A pair of scissors, pins and a hoop to finish the project in. It was priced at £24.99 but, at the time, I had a 50% off code so it cost me £12.49.
The floss was all full skeins and branded as Letistitch. I don’t know what brand it actually is but it was a dream to stitch with.
Stitching the Project
I got my project together and sorted the floss onto organisers to make it easier to work with. There are two sets of charts in this kit. One is an A4 black and white chart that shows the cross stitch only, the other is two A4 pages to make the full pattern and is in colour showing the cross stitch and backstitch.
I found the A4 really difficult to work from as, due to the size, some of the symbols were unclear and it was easy to get mixed up as to what was needed. When using the larger pages the backstitch obscured some of the cross stitch so, again, not terribly easy to use.
That said the floss was silky smooth and an absolute dream to work with.
This project didn’t take long at all to finish, I think I managed it in four or five sessions and as there were lots of smaller parts to work on it was easy to sit at in small bursts to do.
Finishing the Project
It had been my intention to finish the project in the flexible hoop that was sent as part of the finishing kit however, as the picture shows below, the hoop is far too small for the piece to fit into. I’m not sure what has gone wrong other than I was sent too small a hoop or someone at Letistitch got the calculations wrong for the finished piece. So that’s disappointing in that respect as I will have to now purchase another hoop in the correct size. That said the finished design is really lovely and feels very autumnal. I might just frame and display with other autumnal themed projects.
I don’t believe this project is available any more but there are mystery boxes available on the Letistitch site and I have seen other seasonal releases such as Easter and Halloween.
