challenge 52

It’s felt like a productive week this last week, although I have felt really fatigued – a combination of probably doing too much, not eating the right things and four nights of broken sleep with the children! Harry has been particularly clingy and ended up in bed with us three nights; I think it’s because he has had a bit of a cough and been a little out of sorts. I am optimistic he will soon be back to his happy self.

What I have read

This week has been a much better week for reading for me – I’ve pressed on with American Wife which is, so far, fantastic and has been very difficult to put down!

I’ve also almost finished my audio book, Daughter, which is good, although I am not sure where it’s leading to. I’ll have to choose my next audio book this week.

I’ve decided to try and clear my box of books to read, and not loan any more from the library for a few months… itis always very tempting to pick up one of the books in the library, but I really do need to clear my own books at home first.

Total books read this month: 2

Total audiobooks this month: 1

Total books read this year: 5

Audiobooks listened to: 2

Where we have been

The weather has been much much better this week and last Sunday we went for a walk locally along the canal. Something we all really enjoyed doing. It was nice to get out and get some fresh air. We then headed out for dinner in the evening which was nice and the children thoroughly enjoyed too. We have also been to the various groups that the children go to as well as a friends birthday party yesterday which the older two had a fantastic time.

Miles Run

I am pleased that I’ve managed to get out twice this week for a run. Not long runs by any stretch of the imagination, but runs none the less! I’m keen to run a half marathon later this year and am hoping to do the Cheshire half in September time. I need to really press on with my running though and get back into a routine with that. I’m aiming for at least four runs this coming week and try to get another 20 miles or so completed this week to end that month at just over 25 miles.

Miles Completed this week: 6.1

Miles completed this month: 6.1
