We have been making the most of the good weather and have been getting out in the garden. As it was particularly nice on Tuesday we took our painting things outside.
I was sent some of these fab Dinosaur Stampers from the team over at Baker Ross so armed with some poster paint and a large roll of paper we took these out into the garden. They are good for early mark making as well as learning to control the stamper a bit better. We had some similar ones at Christmas and Daniel just rubbed them around the page. This time he was able to place them on the paper much more carefully and create some Dinosaur shapes with them. I think they are quite good value at £3.99 for a pack of ten different stampers.
They are quite chunky and easy enough for Daniel to hold (he is 2.5 years) and I rinsed them under the tap to clean them then left them to dry before putting away for another day.
We then moved on to painting some Sealife themed money boxes. There are three different moneyboxes in the pack, a fish, a crab and a seahorse. We used some poster paint and some glittery paint on these.
Daniel had great fun with these and was very chatty, telling me about the item he was painting. It was a good chance too to talk about the sea and the creatures that live in the sea.
We painted all three and we have left these outside to decorate our garden with for now. They would make a great activity though for a party or sleepover and they are really sturdy. We just used poster paints to paint ours but Baker Ross also sell porcelain paint pens too which would give them a much better finish than we achieved.
I really like our little ceramic moneyboxes and it has given me some more ideas for things to do over the summer months with Daniel and Emma.
I was sent the above items by Baker Ross in exchange for a fair and honest review. All words and opinions are my own.

Love the dinosaur stampers and anything on a large roll of paper always makes it more fun! 🙂 #ToddlerApprovedTuesday
