I’m trying very hard to not have my phone with me at all times – it’s too easy to get sucked into scrolling through Facebook and Instagram. I haven’t worn a watch for a long time – probably since I was in college which is far too many years ago!
Yakwood made contact with me to ask me if I’d like to take a look at their watches. I was impressed with the range and style of the watches and chose two to take a look at.
The Classic Premium Chunk Watch is a lovely watch and has a beautifully clear face. It also comes with a small tool to adjust the size of the watch (removing links) which is useful as invariably watches need altering and it’s not always easy for me to find the time to take watches to get altered. The watch is really lightweight so despite being a large watch it is very very lightweight and easy to wear. The hands glow in the dark which is handy as the nights are drawing in and it has a very quiet tick which is perfect for me – I can’t bear a loud ticking watch!
I also took a look at the classic bamboo wooden watch which has a leather strap and buckle fastening. The strap is super soft and fastens easily. I opted to have the clear face without the numbers but you can choose either. I like the simplicity of this watch and the watch face is very clear and easy to read. Like my other watch, it is super lightweight and it’s easy to forget that you’re wearing it.
Both watches are presented on a cushion within a cardboard box so ready for gifting or easy to store when not in use.
I am impressed with these watches from Yakwood and their full range is well worth checking out.
