There’s not much I want for in life, but sometimes I do like to wonder about how ‘the other half live’ and the things I’d do if I had a limitless pot of money. I don’t think I’d be any happier, but it would certainly provide for different experiences and opportunities. I think there are probably a few things I’d try out at least once….
Live the Jet Set Lifestyle
I miss traveling and it’s something I hope we can do again in the next few years, but of course, now there are five of us the cost of flights has increased and the logistics of traveling to and from airports can be a bit of a headache. I think it money was no object I’d look to try a private jet charter and choose a destination for us all to go to. I’m not sure where I would go, perhaps to South America or the US. I think the children would probably choose Australia. I think a private jet would certainly make the long-haul trip with children much easier. On the other hand I do quite like the idea of a tropical island where we can just totally chill and relax for a time.
Create a home with a pantry and wine cellar
The one thing I really would like is a bigger kitchen and the space to dedicate to a pantry and wine cellar. The idea has always appealed to me, and having a wine cellar stocked up would make it much easier for finding wines or drinks for when we have friends and family around. We don’t have space to store much wine so we can find we don’t have much in to share. Stocking up with wines from https://www.covingtonhillcountry.com/ would mean that we would be able to store wine in the best conditions and have a choice of wines for any occasion.
I like the idea of a pantry too, somewhere to store food so I can bulk buy and reduce the amount of time spent in the supermarket. I’d love to be able to do one huge shop every 4-5 weeks to stock up on the dry goods and then just shop locally for the fresh produce each week. Again, a lack of space prohibits that at the moment but would certainly be something I’d do if money wasn’t an issue.
Travel in style
We have always chosen our family car based on what is practical for us all. We need to consider the insurance and running costs as well as what works for us all. If money wasn’t an issue we would probably have a couple of cars and maybe one that we really looked after and used when we were traveling along. Paying attention to the details with Diamonddetailz.com would be a little treat based on our current car which is, at best, described as functional!
What would you do if you have a limitless amount of money?
