A fashion blogger I am not and I’ll admit that my ‘style’ tends to be simply jeans and a tshirt. I have a tried and trusted pair of jeans that I live in and a couple of jumpers and tshirts that I wear too. When the team at JD Williams asked me if I’d like to choose some summer clothes, I thought it would be a good opportunity to update my wardrobe a little.
I wasn’t too sure what to go for and I was a little spoilt for choice! I was tempted to order a dress but I thought I’d play it safe and choose a couple of tops and a tunic; something that could be dressed up for those rare nights out, or a lazy summers afternoon in the park.
I was impressed with the website; it was easy to navigate and helpful to be able to narrow down the focus by brand and size.
I opted for a lovely Joe Browns tunic. I liked this as it is a little different to the sort of thing I usually wear. The material is fab and it is light and comfortable – perfect for the warmer weather.
I also chose these lovely shell tops – these were really well priced and are perfect for a night out – they look quite dressy and I love the colours of them. They look lovely with jeans as well as linen trousers – they really are a bargain at just £20 and are perfect for summer evenings as they are a lovely light fabric.
The final item I chose was a rather lovely longer length top – it is actually a little shorter than it looks on the website, but it is lovely. It’s a layered fabric but one I can see me wearing a lot over the coming months. It also came with a lovely necklace – one that isn’t too delicate so I won’t have to worry about little hands damaging it!
I was really impressed with the range and choice of clothes that JD Williams have; their website is really easy to navigate and I am sure I’ll be treating myself to a few more bits in due course (I’ve made sure Damian has links to some items!). These tops will be my summer staples this year.
Many thanks to the team at JD Williams for helping me to update my summer wardrobe this year.
