I’m afraid despite plans to dig out the cook books this week’s meal plan is a bit basic. I’m feeling pretty tired with a head cold and not really feeling the meal plan vibe at the moment. Damian has a day away with work this week so it’s just the children and I eating. They’ve requested Jacket potatoes so we will have that with salad and garlic bread I think.
I have a load of carrots to use up so I hope to get chance to make a carrot soup at some point Monday or Tuesday and the rest of the week is all simple foods that don’t require too much though or effort on my part. I am hoping my cold passes soon, but I am sure that the children will end up with it as both Mr D and Miss E have been sniffly and a little off colour Sunday so I’m taking the easy option this week!
Out meal plan this week looks like this:
Monday – Jacket potatoes with salad and garlic bread
Tuesday – Vegetable lasagne
Wednesday – Home made bean burgers with wedges
Thursday – Veg stir fry with noodles
Friday – Home made cheese and onion pie with chips and veg
All very easy this and not too taxing!
