Last week we stuck more or less to our plan, except for one night when my husband was unwell so I ended up scrapping the chicken curry plan and making something else (although I can’t remember what!)
We are also into lent now, so Damian and I are trying to cut out a few things. We have decided to give up alcohol for the lent period but to also cut back on sweets/chocolate and caffeine. We both drink too much tea and coffee so cutting down will be a good thing.
Our plan this week is as follows:
Monday – Vegetable fajitas
Tuesday – Home made quiche and veg
Wednesday – slow cooker chicken curry (the meal we missed last week)
Thursday – Pasta
Friday – Pie/Egg/Fish and chips
Not the most exciting meal plan this week – I need to dig out the cook book at some stage this week and get some more ideas – I’m lacking inspiration at the moment. I think both Damian and I have felt a bit run down in the last week or two but hopefully this week will be a better week and I’ll have the time and energy to plan some more exciting meals for us all.
