A day later than usual due to yesterday being all about Emma, here is my little weekly update. It’s been a busy old week with various things and I am looking forward to getting back to some sort of normality next week!
What I have read
This week I have been reading First Comes Love which I’m really enjoying. I’m not sure what way the story is going, but it’s interesting so far and I plan to finish it this week. I’m also a really good way through my audiobook, White Lies by Lucy Dawson which is really interesting, and I’ not sure yet which character is telling the truth! It’s a really intriguing read.
I’ve also been reading a few new blogs this week too and came across this post from The Curved Opinion which I enjoyed.
So no new finishes this week but hopefully two by this time next week.

Where we have been
This week was half term week here which meant our usual groups were off. On Tuesday we had a train trip to Liverpool with a friend and her two children and that was lots of fun. Tuesday I had planned to visit my Grandmother but I had terrible food poisoning so we had a very quiet day at home. Wednesday we went to a friend’s house for a poetry sharing afternoon. Saturday was Emma’s birthday so we went for breakfast first thing then had family visit her over the day. A busy and fun week.
This week has been so so for running. I’ve managed a nine mile run on Sunday evening last week and had planned to do another 8-9 miles on Tuesday night, but I was so unwell that I just didn’t do a thing. I cut right back on my usual gym classes and at my PT session on Friday, I felt easily fatigued and much weaker than usual. I think I’d just got a bit worn down. I’ve hit just under 25 miles now for the month and so revised my target down with Race at Your Pace. Hopefully, I’ll be back closer to 50 miles in March.
Miles Completed this week: 9.07
