Serenata Flowers Review & Giveaway

I love flowers and there is something wonderful about receiving a bouquet through the post. I’ve only ever been sent a bouquet once before, and that was from my cousin on the day of my Graduation.

I was therefore thrilled when the team at Serenata Flowers got in touch to ask me if I would like to sample something from their site. They asked me to choose something, but as there were so many wonderful things I found myself spoilt for choice, so asked them to send me a surprise.

A little over 24 hours later and I returned home from our usual playgroup to find a box…. and inside were two bouquets and a box of chocolates. The flowers were really well packaged and looked very fresh – it’s always my concern when sending flowers as to whether they will turn up OK or not.

serenata flowers review

The tulips had 20 stems and they were all in perfect condition. I always think tulips are the type of flower that are quite sensitive, they never seem to last too long in my house, either wilting or dropping petals quite quickly. They also came with the white vase that you can see the other flowers in. This is because I have a gorgeous cream jug that I like to put large bouquets in. I used the vase to arrange the Blue Dendrobium in.  I’ve never seen a flower like this before, nor one with such an unusual colour. These arrived looking very fresh and a good number of buds were still closed.

The chocolates were Dusted Raspberry ruffles. These were gorgeous and soon got eaten by Damian and I!

Over a week on and the flowers are still looking really vibrant and healthy – I have had lots of people comment about the tulips and how beautiful they look. I have never had tulips that have retained their colour as well for as long as these have – they look as fresh as they did when they arrived

The Blue Dendrobiums look well too, their colour has dulled only ever so slightly and two or three of the flowers have been fallen off, but I am really impressed with these too over a week on.

Obviously, the truffles didn’t last more than two days!

These are gorgeous flowers and I will be using Serenata the next time I am ordering flowers myself. There is a really good choice of flowers, as well as other gift items and hampers.

I am also thrilled that Serenata are offering one of my readers the chance to win their own bouquet. To be in with a chance to win, please complete the rafflecopter below.
