Review – Sticker by Numbers Book

Review – Sticker by Numbers Book

I love a good activity book and when this Sticker by Numbers Book arrived through the door I was SO excited. I remember having a book like this when I was a child (OK teenager….) and I haven’t seen anything like this for a long while. There are lots of sticker books aimed at younger children, but nothing like this (or at least I haven’t seen anything like this). The book is aimed at 6-9 year olds, but I think older children (and adults!) would enjoy this book too – it has certainly attracted a lot of attention on my twitter and instagram feeds.

The book has pages full of lots of different images, including butterflies, rockets, fireworks and patterns. Each of the pages has white spaces with numbers, which correspond to the nine coloured pages at the back.

The nine pages are packed full of different shaped stickerssticker by numbers review, so as well as matching the numbers you also have to match the shapes. Brilliant for older children who are learning shape and number (and colour). The sheets are also perforated so you can remove them, to save you flicking to the back of the book to get the stickers you need.

This is a great book for older children – I think sometimes older children can feel left out of some things when there are younger children around, and I think this would be lovely to do as a family (and mum and dad could even get themselves a grown up colouring book!).

You did need a steady hand for this book as some of the stickers are quite small. That said it would be lovely to do this with an older child and is great for shape and number knowledge.

*I was sent a free copy of the book for the purpose of a review, all words and opinions are my own*

We're going on an adventure
