Kitchen Gadgets from Vremi

Now, anyone who knows me in real life knows that I’m a bit of a grump when it comes to Christmas, and don’t really plan too much in advance, that said I’ve found some brilliant quality kitchen gadgets that would be perfect gifts for Christmas time!

The Vremi Espresso Maker is the first one – this is perfect for making yourself a cup of proper coffee – something Damian and I enjoy on a Sunday morning when we always treat ourselves to croissants. I don’t drink much coffee in the week, but I do enjoy a cup of fresh coffee on a Sunday morning.

The Vremi Espresso Maker is super easy to use and works on pretty much all hob tops. You can then use the coffee in latte, cappuccinos or ‘neat’ if that’s your thing – I’m more of a latte lover I must confess and this works perfectly as I can warm some milk as the espresso maker sets about with making the coffee.

The three elements to the espresso maker all come apart easily, simply twist the bottom section off the maker, lift the middle part out (where the coffee is placed and you’re sorted. It’s super easy to clean up and is soon ready for its next use.

We have also been taking a looking at the Vremi Wine Preserver. In days gone by we would have, quite easily, finished off a bottle of wine. These days it’s not uncommon for us to put half a bottle of wine back – the prospect of a 7am start with the three children after drinking a little too much doesn’t appeal to me at all!

The Vremi Wine Preserver comes with four separate lids to pop onto the top of a bottle of wine – four does seem rather optimistic but I suppose it allows for is any are misplaced etc. The lid sits on the top of the bottle and you use the pump to extract the oxygen, which, the theory goes, preserves the wine.

It’s a neat gadget and is only small so fits easily into the cutlery drawer without taking up too much space. The lids are neat and fit close to the bottle and have a little turner on them so you can mark the date that the wine was preserved. Genius.
