HIPP Organic Breakfast Range

HIPP Organic Breakfast Range

We were recently sent some of the new HIPP Organic breakfast range to try out. Breakfast is always a nice meal here. Both Mr D and Miss E are always ravenous in the morning and it’s not unusual for them to have two breakfasts! I’m keen to vary what they eat in the morning – it’s very easy to fall into the trap of having the same thing each morning so we tend to offer different things including cereals, bagels, pancakes, porridge etc.

We were sent the new Fruity Muesli with Crispy Ducks and the Fruity O’s to try out. The children were excited to try them out when they spotted the boxes in the cupboard and first up were the Fruity O’s. The children enjoy cheerios so I was sure they’d like these. Mr D tucked straight in and enjoyed these as did Miss E.

I had a little taste of them and was pleasantly surprised by them. Sometimes specifically designed food for children can be a bit bland but these are OK. I like that they’re a good lower sugar alternative to the more ‘mainstream’ cereals which can sometimes have an astonishingly high sugar content (it is well worth stopping and taking a look next time you’re in the supermarket).

Whilst the muesli isn’t one that we will buy in the future as neither of the children liked it, the fruity O’s are one that I would try again, especially when Mr H is older and in the weaning stage.

These look very child appealing from the packaging. My two love muesli so no doubt that would go down well here.
