Hiding from mummy

Hiding from mummy

Daniel at the moment is on some sort of growth spurt, development leap etc. He has recently toilet trained so we are now fully trained in the day and his language is increasing at a phenomenal rate each day. I’ve often written about his capacity and desire to learn and he is just drinking in everything at the moment.

All this means that he is often quite tired and this week he has been nothing short of exhausted. In fact one day this week he was crying to go to bed at 4pm! I’m not sure if he is sickening for something or whether it is just development etc that is tiring him out.

Earlier in the week I was playing with Emma. To get my attention Daniel threw a bag of megabloks around the room. He was tired and wanted me to entertain him. I explained that I was talking to Emm and I asked him to tidy the blocks away…. and this is what he did….

toddler hiding

He has started hiding from me… but not quite grasping the concept of needing to actually hide! I love this photo so much – it is so Daniel and Is the background image on my phone at the moment.

Great photo love when they hide! The toddler hid in my hair when I was carrying him last week, when I asked what he was doing “I shy, I hide mummys hair”

Oh I love it – so funny! Miss M does it too and we pretend we can’t see her so she giggles – they’re so cute at this age! #sundaysstars
