Buster Activity Books (& Giveaway)

I’m a huge fan of the books that Buster Books produce, and have been really lucky to have had so many great titles to review over the past year.

Buster have sent through some of their Spring titles and I’m sharing them here with you.

big beautiful colouring bookFirst up is The Big Beautiful Colouring Book. I’ve had a few of the colouring books but this one is quite different. Firstly, it is HUGE. The pages are also one sided and have a perforated edge, so perfect for displaying the finished masterpiece. I’ve written before about Emma’s bedroom and I am working on a picture at the moment for her room. I’ve chosen the fox picture as I quite liked it (I have a thing for foxes) and when it is finished then it will be framed for her wall. Fox

The book is big enough for two people to work on one picture, or the perforated pages allow you to remove the pictures so more than one person can use the book at any one time. There are also plenty of great images to choose from, definitely something to suit all tastes.

Next up is a book that is a really good idea – Fingerprint Fun. This book has lots of pages just waiting to be decorated with fingerprints. A brilliant idea! I wasn’t sure how Daniel would fare with this book as he can be a bit reticent with getting his hands mucky but he really enjoyed this when we put some leaves on trees and bubbles for the girl blowing bubbles.

He really enjoyed this and I can see it being a book that we will use a lot, and also use for inspiration too in some of our other activities. It’s also a cute way of recording your little ones hand and fingerprints in a fun way.

fingerprint fun

sticker by numbersFinally, is the Animals Sticker by Numbers. I love these books a lot. They are really innovative I think and with over 3500 sticker then there is a lot sticker fun to be had! Aside from that it is great for developing number, colour and really developing those skills in precision. The book works with a series of pictures that are coloured in using the corresponding stickers, which are all made up of simple shapes such as squares and triangles. There are some lovely designs in here including snakes, fish and a gorgeous tiger.

I have had one of these sticker books before and I still dig it out every now and then and have a play with it. This Animals one, however, is being saved for Daniel as I think he will be able to complete some of these images over the next year as his fine motor skills develop further.

I am thrilled that the team at Buster Books are offering one of my readers the chance to win all three of these activity books. To be in with a chance of winning complete the rafflecopter below! Good luck!
